Aloha + Hola = Alohola!

Aloha! Loving the food in Hawaii, but nearly 2 weeks here has made for a huge taco deficiency. To recuperate (and to thank my kind hosts), I brought a little Mexi flavor to the islands via grilled fish tacos and carne asada for dinner tonight. Everyone was digging the cervezas, cocktails, and taco bar fixings, but I have to confess it wasn’t a totally perfect food conversion: turns out you can take the Hawaiian out of the kitchen but you can’t call it dinner without some poke and pupus in rotation!
