Seconds, Anyone?

As a cook, the ultimate compliment is having someone ask for seconds, and, as a TV person, well, the same holds true. I’m over the moon as foodCrafters has been asked to serve up a big serving of seconds and a season of 13 new episodes will be starting this Monday. The crew and I are still on the road in Austin, Texas filming the last of the stories, but we’ve got a load of drool-worthy stories already lined up for you. Here’s the road map of what’s ahead for the next few months and when it’s all airing:

Leopold Bros -Family owned and operated, this small batch distillery makes vodka, gin, whiskies, liquers and traditional Absinthe Verte.
Happy Balls -Handmade Kentucky bourbon candy, made with 9-year-old single-barrel bourbon.

11/8 – HOLIDAY at 10:30p EST

Baked Ideas -Creative and stunning, custom-made cookies that are essentially edible illustrations.
Bourbon Red Turkeys -Heritage turkeys, named for Kentucky’s Bourbon County and their vibrant plumage, are richly flavored.
Panforte -Loaves of a traditional Mediterranean treat made from almonds and dried apricots, nectarines, peaches and dates.
First Prize Pies -Traditional pies with flavorful twists, made in Brooklyn and shipped locally.

11/15 – NUT at 10:30p EST

Jennie and Vera’s Cookies -Elegant gourmet cookies from a mother and daughter team for any occasion.

11/23 – RELISH at 8:30p EST

Wild Blossom Wines -Chicago’s first winery and Illinois’ only producer of honey wines (also known as mead).
Mama Lil’s Peppers -Hot and even hotter pickled Hungarian goathorn peppers in oil.

Dread Head Chef -Chips and salsa for dessert? Dread Head makes sweet, fruity salsa and cinnamon-sugar dusted chips for just that.
