And so it begins. The book tour for my first-ever cookbook, Keys To The Kitchen, starts today!
I’m not sure what lies ahead but I sure am excited about it all — let’s talk specifics because I want to make sure we meet up. Here’s the deal: I’ll be visiting 15 cities across the U.S. from now until the end of the year, including locations in South Florida, Los Angeles, San Diego, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Seattle, and San Francisco. I’m also working on events in Austin, New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia and I’ll share details with you as soon as I know more. Ok, that was a mouthful to write, so check out the when, what, and where my calendar page or my Facebook page.
While we’re on the topic, I’ll be headed to South Florida this weekend so I’d be much obliged if you helped spread the word with your friends, family, and fellow food fans. At each Williams-Sonoma store, I’ll be doing a cooking demo, sharing tastes from the book, and doing a book signing. So, stop by the stores in Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach if you happen to be in the ‘hood.
And, if you aren’t in South Florida, well, you can still help me kick things off. Today at 50 Williams-Sonoma stores nationwide, there will be a September Cookbook Club class that will feature Keys To The Kitchen, allow you to try some of the recipes, and get your hands on one of the first copies of the book.
Ok, enough logistics for now. Keep checking my calendar and I’ll be sure to keep you posted as I make like a pinball traveling from sea to shining sea.
