Let’s just pretend last night didn’t happen — that my family didn’t raid the little ones’ candy stash and shamelessly eat bite-sized KitKats and Crunch bars while drinking really good red wine. We grew up in a no snacks, no candy household so Halloween has always been the one night when we throw that all out the window.
